Synopsis: Michael ‘Eddie’ Edwards dreams of becoming an Olympic athlete, focussing his efforts on representing Great Britain in ski jumping at the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics. To achieve his dream Eddie has to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles but with the help of his unorthodox coach Bronson Peary, he qualifies for the competition becoming a worldwide celebrity in the process.
